Couldn’t pay my ccj

Hi so I was given a ccj by an old debt from 2010, I couldn’t afford to pay the amount ordered by the court and the debt collecting company took me back to court. I had to send back a letter with all of my incoming and outgoings and the court then sent a letter to say I couldn’t afford to pay the debt and since then the company have still been trying to contact me to pay this off. The ccj is still on my credit report and I’d like to try and have this marked as settled so my question is could I offer a low settlement fee to get this resolved and marked on my credit report as settled and how much percentage should I offer? Thankyou

What was the date of the judgement ?Because 6 years from that date it will automatically drop off your file regardless of what else you do.You actually have a letter from the court confirming you cannot afford to pay the judgement ?That`s unusual, i`d keep that letter safe if i were you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
