I think this is a similar question to "I need a reliable new car - which one should I get?"
You need to gave far more information, including (but not limited to): gas or electricity? how many ovens? do you need a hob above? how much do you want to pay?
In general, the more you pay the better the oven, and brand makes some difference.
I suggest you find someone with a Which? subscription, and work through each individual make and model out of the 75 reviewed - curiously they don't seem to have done a side-by-side comparison table...

Plus "brand" doesn't mean much nowadays, the same name will appear on appliances made by a number of companies. I have a Hotpoint oven, made by Creda. We've been away a couple of weeks and one place we stayed had the same oven but with Indesit written on it. The next place we stayed had Hotpoint written on the oven but it wasn't a model I recognise, it was several levels below the others in quality.
Go look at them in the shops (remember shops?), don't go for a cheap name you've never heard of and cross your fingers.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit are all just brands owned by Whirlpool. Better known for their self-igniting tumble driers.

  • Had a Neff for years here, only a few issues with it.

Without any idea of a budget it's really difficult to advise and tbh there's no such thing as a brand that "rarely breaks". I have a fairly modestly priced Baumatic oven that I've owned for over 10 years and it still works faultlessly apart from having to replace the fan element last year but I have friends with top of the range Neff ovens, the ones you see with the sliding doors on Bake Off, who've had multiple issues.

I just want peoples recommendations for an oven brand that they’ve had that last a long time and I did mention what type as I stated fan oven which are electric and if I’d wanted hob advice I would have stated that. And ovens don’t come with a hob cookers do. I realise I can just get advice from which? But I wanted other opinions too and which? Don’t state in their reviews about the products longevity.

Our Hotpoint under-oven gave us 18 years of faithful service before I broke the door (and we couldn't find a replacement).  Replacement is also a Hotpoint, is now 3 years old and hasn't missed a beat.
