For those wondering what sort of mental nonsense this is - it's the good old 'google translate a post into another language and back again' approach to post building.flipmorgan said:Have you attempted to do the equalization move on the web? Hi All,
Thanks so much for your help, Just thought I would update you.
We tried to put it through over the phone, and after initially being told no by virgin - they checked with their manager and it worked - I haven't told Halifax yet.
I still have a complaint open with them as the delays caused me to get another months interest payment - but at least I have now done what I wanted to do eventually and have 20 months to pay it off now.
I would still like to know why they lied about the change in the Law - dishonest people - I actually felt quite harassed by his approach to the topic, and then to have it missrepresented, and the transaction be fine anyway. But then I don't want them to try to recall it now I've managed to transfer it sucessfully!.
