Azaleas - overwintering in pots..?

I bought a few orange blossoming Azalea plug plants from a reputable dealer earlier this year. They've done well and grown on such that they're now in 3ltr pots and a foot high.
Any advice as to how to keep them through the winter? I have some much larger plants in bigger pots and these seem to have no trouble in surviving but I'm a bit concerned about these young 'uns. Want to get them through to flowering time!
