Historical Flight Data - Virgin Airlines - Credit Card dispute

Hi. Not sure if this is the right place to post, I have been searching.
Our flights with virgin from london to delhi VS303 on 1 Apr 20:05 were cancelled by the airline.
We've been waiting for a refund since then and virgin just say contact your agent (dream world travel) but they just keep trying to offer me a voucher.
So I've raised a dispute with my credit card company. They seem to be processing it but they've asked me for evidence of cancellation.
I thought I took a screenshot at the time, but I can't find it. Is there any other way to find historical flight details that will count as proof?
Surely virgin should be able to supply the info? To be honest, I'm surprised the credit card team don't have access to a website so they can validate these sort of claims.
Any guidance would be very welcome.
Thank you.

You should be able to find it here - https://uk.flightaware.com/
Bear in mind the credit card team's aim is to defend payouts, so they won't go trawling the Internet for the information needed for a claim; quite the opposite0 -

If you have access to a premium Flightradar24 account, this may be helpful for you. I do, but only for 6 months, so can't help you with a screenshot.
Flightaware is another similar system that usually goes further back.💙💛 💔1 -
It may seem an obvious question, but do you not have some notification of cancellation from the airline or agent? (Or is that the screenshot you can't find?)
A long shot, but can you log into the booking on Virgin Atlantic? I’d imagine after all this time it wouldn’t show anymore, but there’s an outside chance it might be there still and show cancelled.Virgin would of course have the data and you could try and get in touch with them for confirmation.Or just explain to your card company you don’t have confirmation of cancellation and let them take it up with Virgin/Dreamworld Travel. It’s not unusual though for a card company to ask you for proof of what you’re telling them to support the claim.0 -
Thanks for your replies.
For the flight info you need premium accounts to go back 7 months. I wonder if Martin Lewis could get membership on behalf of all those people who might need to confirm cancellations. That would be so helpful.
I didn't get any notification - I think the agent was overwhelmed by the sheer number of cancellations at that time. I couldn't get through to them on the phone so I was checking the virgin website each day. I will ask the agent to see if they can provide confirmation.
I've also sent a message to virgin via their text service. Oddly I can't log in to their website - the "my booking" option doesn't work and the flying club is also refusing to let me in. (I tried resetting my password (just in case I was making a mistake) but it won't even let me do that - it says this service is not available at this time.)0 -
No need to pay anything - you can get a 7 day trial of Flightradar24 here: https://www.flightradar24.com/premium
You need the 'gold' sub, and then you can see 365 days back.2 -
Cheers @mattyprice4004. I'll give it a try. Is it easy to cancel?0

I've signed up but I can only see my flight for about a month. The flights from London to Delhi stop on 20 March and the flights in the opposite direction don't start until 2 September. Is that because all the other dates were cancelled? Hmm, it's a good sign but the absence of the data doesn't prove the flight was cancelled. I was hoping I could put in a date and flight and get a status. Any other options?

Sorry, I'm not too sure - I just had a read of the details regarding their packages and cost etc. It's frustrating the data isn't there, I'd expect it to show as cancelled if the flight didn't run. However I'd say the huge gap in data when the flights aren't running will be enough for the CC company (I'd hope so, anyway!)Best of luck, do let us know how you get on.0

I have Gold Membership on Flighradar and should see 365 days of history, but for VS303, I can only see flights from 01/09/2020.
Don't you have email from OTA or Virgin, that flight was cancelled? If OTA offers voucher, it must have admitted that flight was cancelled.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried contacting both virgin and the OTA.
In case it's of use to anyone, Virgin is operating a text service. If you send a text to 07481 339 184 you get a list of options back to direct your query to the relevant team. It takes a few days but they do reply. In this case they said I should request a proof of cancellation from RequestALetter@fly.virgin.com with all the flight details.
I'll post back once I get a reply.
You're all super kind. Thanks again.0
