Redundancy and CMS payment?

Looking for advice on whether a voluntary redundancy payout of 50K would entitle the main carer parent to a % of the payout towards the child. There is no intention to work for the next year, so monthly payments would cease. CMS payments are usually worked out yearly and paid directly from parent to parent. Thanks in advance
