Lack of good switching deals early October 2020?

Hi folks, I created my account to ask a somewhat broad question: is it just me, or does it seem to others as though there is a lack of really competitive energy deals right now? Maybe the consolidation of the industry through smaller ones going bust or being bought? But it feels (to me at least) that there isn't that urgency to entice customers to move?

You need to understand that covid-19 has resulted in a large drop in consumption so I suspect this may account for the lack of offers.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Deals always a variable month by month .Also depends upon how good your current deal is and if you are on top of your usage .Good deal for me last three years would be a saving of about £30 pa .0

The reduction in the Price Cap along with increasing Wholesale Energy costs are forcing many suppliers to pull cheaper deals. Could be a good time to grab a cheap fix if you can find one.0
