New plants to put into place
Options
I have had some plants delivered and after reading the instructions it advises planting out as soon as possible, however, it also says don't plant into waterlogged ground. Obviously the weather forecast is wet for a good few days. I am wondering how best to go forward, i don't have a greenhouse to place them in.

What sort of plants? Generally, if you can get in fast before the rains and plant them so you aren't digging in soggy earth they are fine with rain afterwards.

Although the ground is wet, it may not be waterlogged, but only you can judge. If water is forming small puddles on the surface and these don't go between bouts of rain, or they join into larger areas of water, that's waterlogging and I'd wait. The size of the plants also makes quite a difference. It's not the time of year for plugs!1

Agree with previous replies.
If the plants are trees and shrubs, it's a good time.
If it's perennials - okay if good drainage.
If it's winter bedding okay as long as the situation and condition fits.
If it's plug versions of any of the above - don't plant them out, create a 'nursery' and put them out in the spring.2 -
Thanks guys, couple of shrubs and young plants mostly perennials not plugs.
