PC keeps crashing

Help my PC keeps crashing. I have Mozilla and IE, but mainly use Mozilla. I got hacked about two weeks ago and I also found three trojan horses a few days ago. I have AVG installed as well. Help...does anyone know whats wrong? Thanks.

In what way is it crashing exactly? Is there a Blue screen of death (BSOD)? What are you doing when it crashes? Surfing the net?
Post full and exact details of any error messages, popups etc.

It crashes when I open up about three or four windows. Each window goes blank for about fifteen seconds. I get the not responding message.0
