Trolley jack pad

I am thinking of one of these for my trolley jack when jacking up my Hyundai Santa fe 4X4 have you any experience of using them?

    Not particularly the ones linked to but I have used one specifically for a BMW and it works as it should.

    Given that you can get one already made for your car for around a fiver why would you do this. It's not like we all have hockey pucks lying around the house.

    They seem like a good idea and better than metal on metal if you use the normal jack.
