Do any electric companies report your payment history to credit reference agencies?

Yes. Not that mine counts as they are closing down so no help to you!However I doubt it makes much of any impact anyway.0

As far as positive payment history, every bit counts.If you are starting from a low point then yes I guess it all counts.And yes, currently with npower (signed up though this site on some deal). And since eon bought out (just a side effect, they were after german industry) all customers are moving to eon uk (well domestic ones like me). Eon may well report but I will not know until the move occurs and a few extra months for things to update!(I looked at my old report wehen I remortgage and I can say there is no eveidence that scottish power do (who I was with at the time), of course that may have changed since).1 -
