Some of my Freeview channels aren't working....but they were yesterday!

Have recently bought a Sony KDL32S3000 LCD Digital TV. We had the TV working whilst we were waiting for the wall bracket to arrive. Tuned it in and all channels worked fine. We have now put the wall bracket up and TV is now on the wall. (same location, arial point, socket etc) and mysteriously channel 082 and 083 are missing!! (sky news and sky sports news). They were fine and dandy yesterday, even when we'd just put the TV on the wall, but today they have disappeared. We have followed the "trouble shooting", turning off/retuned all channels etc etc..... it has found 55 channels - but 082 and 083 still missing. We have freeview in our bedroom as a settop box, and we can get them there. Anyone got any ideas??

Perhaps you could check this first: The two missing channels are on Multiplex C, which also broadcasts, among others, E4+1, Sky 3 and Dave. Are you able to receive these channels? If you can't then it would indicate that you are in a borderline area for reception of that Multiplex, and you might need to upgrade your aerial or the cabling.
If you can get the other channels, but not Sky News and Sky Sports News, then I have no idea what the problem might be, and you'll need to wait for someone with more technical expertise to come along!"The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -
Interesting....no, we can't get those either on the tv on the wall downstairs. But, we can get them on our freeview box in our bedroom upstairs. The strange this is they feed from the same aerial.... Its weird how it was all hunky dory until the day after we put the TV on the wall!
