Not true either. Looking at this forum there are plenty of people who have had to pay, after losing their case in court, and also facing additional court costs added on top.Coupon-mad said:Ultimately you will probably have to pay the fine,But no-one pays PCM here!
It isn't a fine and these are won in court.
While I applaud the attempts the get these invoices cancelled, nobody seems to be offering advice on what the implications are for someone who is not successful in their appeal. Court costs added to the original charge is hardly saving money.

You think that it is a fine? How have you come to that conclusion?
Why are you telling us about your mortgage? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Myself , coupon mad , Umkomaas and many others have stated numerous times that a loss in court for one PCN means a judgment of between £175 and £200 depending on the parking company involved !! So although it's your opinion it is not borne out by the facts !! Check the hundreds of posts by the regulars here to see that your statement is economical with the truth !!nerox said:

Umkomaas and others have posted a breakdown of charges on this forum numerous times in the last 7 years I have been coming here and I regularly post that breakdown if the question arises
I have assessed some cases and informed the OP that the Parking company is likely to succeed , if they have a victim bang to rights !!
If the parking companies were transparent and covered all the bases then they should win every time , but often they are chancing it2 -

You have not addressed the question. What makes you think your personal financial targets offend me?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Since 2016 a consistent 99% have won in court.
As for 'nobody seems to be offering advice..' yes we do. All the time. We tell people that the implications are paying £175-£200 if they are in the 1% who lose in court, i.e. that court costs are £50 - £75 on top of £100 (already extortionate) PCN. It's not a huge risk and there is no CCJ risk when people follow our advice and don't ignore court directions and stages, and turn up in person or by phone for their hearing.
Not even if they lose because they can then pay within 30 days.
My reply wasn't untrue:
These are not fines = True.
Most (99%) win = True.
You won't find a board on this forum with better prospects of success in terms of disputes with industry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
