    If you apply for planning permission, you’ll get loads of letters from builders. It seems a little bit desperate.

    I've  had them from house buying companies too. And removal firms and storage unit firms!

    We had a few of these last time our house was on the market 3 years ago. The funniest was the one which extolled the virtue of it being handy for a particular station. Sadly, they chose the wrong station. Local one is approx a mile away, whereas the one they mentioned is over 10 miles, and 3 down the line :D
