Best fixed rate 1 year

I've looked everywhere. Some may be aware that NS&! have put us on notice re massive rate cuts.
We've looked at the Coventry but its a variable rate of just over 1% and IMHO will go down
PBonds to my surprise were paying 1.4% now will be 1% so we will keep money in there
However, the bulk of of our cash, we want the compo scheme in place and a trusted name in the UK
Who pays more than 1% fixed for a year - not seen any.
