Glad I didn't waste any time moving money over to that account nowMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...0 -
That's for new applicants though, so existing should still be on 1.20% or 1.10%
I do agree though, how long before those rates drop too.
I have one open, but only funded with a £1 at the moment. It's back-up to a drop by Skipton.0 -
I expect they have a target amount for each issue and when it`s reached they pull the account and chop the rate for the next issue.
I would say the Coventry is probably one of the better building societies.

Likewise Principality have pulled their Online Limited Access account paying 1.05% and replace it with Issue 2 paying 0.9%0

...suggesting that the YBS instant access one at 1% will be the next to go. Need to get a shift on there...0

Hi
As I thought as we have just moved money into that.
As you may be aware the NS&! have murdered their saving rates and we moved to them last year.
Re the P/Bonds I thought that was 1% but it was actually 1.4% now 1%.0 -
From 10/02/21 rate will be down to 0.55%. Other changes also are up to six withdrawals each year and name changed to Coventry Limited Access0

Already discussed...Coventry limited access/double access reducing rate to a 'market leading' 0.55% - Page 4 — MoneySavingExpert ForumJohnM5206 said:From 10/02/21 rate will be down to 0.55%. Other changes also are up to six withdrawals each year and name changed to Coventry Limited Access0 -
Thanks for that, but a search provided this in the top half dozen replies and did not produce this result.0

Y it's a couple below that, but it wasn't a criticism; just trying to avoid same threads in several places.0
