I've found that lidl's thick bleach eats through gung. I pour it down bath plughole at night and then pour in hot water in the morning. It's cheaper than proper drain unblocker.

Sorry, the irony failed. I expect you will be back in a couple of days to offer some more abuse. All that was said, originally, was that the post would have been more suited  to another thread which, frankly, I would have thought hard to argue with, but may be not!😛
