DRO accepted

Options
Not sure how I feel. I sent my application off to StepChange 7th September and had my DRO granted by the OR today, all sent via email.
Thank you to those who helped me with my questions! I really appreciate it.
My name isn't on the IR yet, imagine it will be in a few days?
I am happy, but feel it was too easy. I suspect that's the guilt, but hopefully over time I will learn to be happy that I will be debt free in 12 months

Thank you, liggerz87  Not long for you now!  :)
I noticed this morning that my CC has been completely removed from my bank account - I can't even view its status? Is this normal?

My DRO was accepted on the 30th and it appeared on my TransUnion credit file the very next day so it's possible. Also, all of my credit accounts have disappeared from my Experian file.

Ignore what goes on with regard to your credit file, in fact i suggest you ignore it completly untill you are discharged, then start the process of credit file clean up.
A DRO is an easy solution, as long as you qualify, they were designed as a simpler form of bankrupcy, to be honest you wouldn`t know you were in it once its granted, simple, straightforward, no hassle, i bet your all wondering what all the fuss was about already eh !!

  • Yes I was very stressed but now relieved :)
I shall ignore all until next year then rather than obsessing over it, thank you!
