shower riser replacement

I'm pretty rubbish at all things DIY. My shower riser needs replaced as with the head and hose. I can get the replacement kit myself but I got a guy out to give me a quote to replace it but the quote was £90. Seems a bit steep as it's just taking out the old riser via the screws and putting the new one in. The screws are a bit rusty. Thoughts?

The holes will probably not line up with the new riser kit so you will need someone to drill some new holes.
Not a big job though and certainly nowhere near £901 -
Just buy a riser kit which can be adjusted to suit the holes you already have , you can pick one up for a tenner £90 is a total rip off for 10 mins work
The new riser should have screws in it for you to use , have a go yourself what have you got to lose?0 -
Or buy the same model as you have already - it's not impossible that the mounting design has changed but if you're lucky everything will line up and you won't need to drill anything.

Is it just the riser that will not stay up the rail ??
Slides down all the time ??
