Garage to Studio renovation

This is something I’m considering myself. The alternative is getting a garden room built.
Has the builder given you an estimate or quote?
Would you mind sharing a rough cost?

Hi. Sorry just seen this. It’s £3,800 for the full works (not the roof as that was recently done). Price includes all electrics, second hand side door and window knocked through (double glazed), all sides, ceiling and flooring insulated and boarded, electrics, outside motion sensor light and all internal painting and external garage door painted as it’s all peeling. Found a great builder with excellent references. The quote before him was nearly £2k more so worth shopping around.1

As it's a detached garage youeyou wont need building regs provided it doesn't contain sleeping accommodation.0
