Lidl 3 year warranty

Bought a Lidl Nevadent electric toothbrush with a 3 year warranty.Thing never really worked properly but failed completely around Jan 2020.When I eventually returned it to Lidl they wouldn't do anything despite still being well within the warranty period. Have tried contacting H.O by phone and online but no joy.Any suggestions please.FIL bought a microwave from them which failed, the company sent a courier to collect and couriered a new one back.

Firstly the store said that the warranty was 1 year instore and 2 years with the manufacturer. I have tried ringing CS but gave up after 32mins and 28 mins. Have emailed them and they have emailed a contact reply. I do have the receipt and the box states a 3 year warranty. All I want to know is what I should do next. From what I am reading lots of people have had trouble with these tooth brushes and Nevadent/ german manufacturer.0

Why are you contacting CS and not the manufacturer?
I'd hazard a guess that these extra 2 years are on condition of filling out a card and sending it to them, if so did you do this?0 -
My OH contacted the manufacturer direct and received a refund direct from them without any hassle when his went wrong.
