Redundancy pay

Options
Hi
So I was put on furlough by my employer when lockdown happened and then was put on the redundancy consultation and then told in June that I would be made redundant. I got my letter confirming my redundancy on 19th June and that I would be paid until the end of furlough on 31st July. I then got paid my redundancy money.
I then got contacted by my employer on 1st July saying that they were now in a position to offer alternative employment and I went through the whole application process again and started back with the company on the 16 aug.
My company have now taken the redundancy money back. My question is, that because I went through the whole redundancy process and have a letter confirming my redundancy, should my company be taking the money back?

Obviously yes? You haven't been made redundant so why should you get redundancy pay. You were due to be made redundant on 31st July but on 1st July you accepted the company's offer of alternative employment and therefore stopped the redundancy process.
