Forget the 70/30 split, they just wacker a massive (industry standard they say) price hike of eye watering 28% from next month.
FB Outfoxthemarket Discussion group in pieces over it

Please can you give us the facts, i.e. your old kWh rates, new kWh rates, old daily charges, new daily charges?0
-
"you have increased the daily standing charge from 8.1540 to 18.87 p per day."
"from 9.92p per day to 19.10 per day. Now that’s an increase"
Looks like most customers have their standing charge increased by about 10p/day.
The standing charge increase by itself would result to an extra £36.50 or so.
One customer has posted that their Elec rate is going from 13.32p/kWh to 15.12p/kWh.
Their Standing charge 14.88p/day to 21.02p/day.
At 2,900kWh annual Elec usage that gives you a £75 increase from £440 to £515. (About 16% increase)

I'm in the south east and my changes are as below, starting from the 1st November 2020. I'm on Pure Gas 2.0 and gas only with them."Our gas rate will increase from 2.54762p to 2.92837p per kWh. We’re also increasing our gas standing charges from 9.99905p to 26.07452p. These numbers all include VAT.
Our prices still remain low and reflect the true cost of energy.
We remain considerably cheaper than the price cap."
I don't understand why people are up in arms about it though, switch to Zog started within 4 hours of receiving the email and scheduled for the 31st of October.0 -
16p SC increase is insane!
That's £60 a year more even before using any gas - madness.0 -
Surely everyone fixed in the spring when prices were low? No price rise for me!1
