For Amazon prime day on Oct 13th, do you have to search for the item ON THE DAY or can you fill your basket now and just buy it on the day? Will you still get any deals attached to those items?

eg- if there is a prime item for £20 now & I put it in my basket but on Prime day it gets reduced to £10, will it reduce the price of it in my basket or will I still pay £20?
