4 or 3 standard car batteries , £15 each scrappy , fit bigger alternator so you can charge the batteries on the go combine with solar panels for a boost

Bear in mind you will need a high wattage solar panel to recharge that kind of ampage 

What are you planning to power anyway and for how long? That will give you a better idea of what size battery you need

I haven't purchased anything yet, just doing some research.

Tanya batteries is a good source for the batteries, have you tried anyone for the solar panels, which should i purchase, long reliability

I think you'd be better looking at some of the various specialist motorhome/campervan forums out there. Is it a VW camper/Transporter you have or looking at? There are plenty of owners forums that should give you all the advice you need.
