I am aware that these are voluntary actions that financial institutions may or may not choose to follow, and that Caxton is quite within it's rights to not notify it's customers in advance of fees. Until now I didn't know that Caxton wasn't going to give me advance notification and I'm sure there are many people out there who didn't know that either.
As the FCA probably hasn't told Caxton or anyone else to notify you of dormancy charges (which are in the T&Cs which you should be reading) then they won't.0 -

Looks like closing it, at a cost of £1.50 (redemption processing fee, per T&C 21), may be the best course of action in current environment.1
