Am I eligible for anymore financial awards ?

I don’t feel that was the nature of Comms69s response. They live alone in a country with no friends or support, a low income they can’t manage on, and no job. They don’t see their children or family, and it’s not as if it’s a worthy trade off because they can send them decent money/visit them.elsien said:
Without being funny, suggesting to someone they go back where they came from isn't particularly helpful.Comms69 said:Without being funny - why are you still here? Surely at this point living here is in effect a negative income?Sure financially I’m sure it won’t be any better where their family lives, but at least they won’t be alone.13 -
Elsien didn't suggest that. They made the perfectly valid point that living here doesn't seem to be in OP's best interests.elsien said:

OP may also want to consider looking for a job.
Although being sacked for something that involved the law and affected their DBS might mean they struggle somewhat in the health care sector.
Depending on the actual circumstances a decent reference may also be challenging
It does sound as if the OP is getting all they are entitled to so will need to look at ways to either boost their income or reduce expenditure (possibly both)0 -
.....hi all,
Thank you so much for all your advices. L
Only those people who are going though what i am going through, will understand my situation.
Leaving UK and not being here is no way going to help me and my family. I still will not have a job which will support me and my family. YES ! the only good thing is i will at least be with my parents and children. Why don't I have the right to be in UK. I have paid taxes & NI for 15 years and never ever claimed a penny. Now when i need help i feel i am being thrown from pole to the post.
Ref : A lodger ?...i think as per the housing contract we are not allowed lodgers sadly. or that would be my 1st priority.
Anyway, i am trying. for me times have changed in just last 11 months, a fast runner who walks slowly in case i stumble, breathing (Asthmatic) , lost my quick reflexes in movement, numbness-dropped cups of tea several times, pain anywhere anytime and much more, had my cervical hysterectomy disc fusion in spine . It sad but none of can change facts and once again i repeat, i worked hard in 15 Years and paid my tax and NI and always got my thru difficult times. I wont leave the country.
Regards

I am not commenting on your right to be here, i have no idea what your immigration status is. Just that it seems to be a poor decision for you personally.alykhalil1 said:.....hi all,

Tenancies cannot ban you from having a lodger.2 -
What is often banned is a sub-tenant - where you move out and someone else lives there. A lodger while you are still living there is a different matter. The charity Shelter might be able to advise on the exact wording of your housing contract.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

We can have all the sympathy in the world for your situation, but the fact remains that in benefit terms you seem to be claiming everything you are entitled to, and that would be the same regardless of your country of origin / how many years you've worked and paid taxes here / what you do with your money / your health issues. Benefits are not going to stretch as far as a regular salary would.
If you can't do the job you were doing before, look around for what you can do.Signature removed for peace of mind1 -
They certainly can, depending on the type of tenancy. See https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/housing/renting-a-home/subletting-and-lodging/lodging/rights-of-tenants-to-take-in-a-lodger/Comms69 said:

Might also impact on OP's right to benefits if there take in a lodger. Downsizing to a cheaper property might be a better option.0 -
Nobody has said you should leave - but several people have suggested very sensible options such as considering whether that would be a good option; seeking help from Stepchange; or downsizing to a one bed or studio flat, none of which you seem keen to follow up.alykhalil1 said:.....hi all,

You are already getting plenty of help - social housing and many benefits - but all you seem interested in is getting more money from benefits rather than addressing your problems. You have to understand that simply isn't going to happen, so you do need to start being realistic when assessing your options. You lost your job as a result of your own behaviour and the taxpayer isn't going to fund the lifestyle you had while you were working and earning, so lowering your expectations is an inevitable part of the adjustment you must make, unless you get another job.
You refer to your children, but not to their other parent - any chance of financial help there?1
