Things have always been recycled after they have been scrapped. There is value in most materials coming from the care especially the metals, and many components and parts will be taken off whole and available for re-use as replacements on existing vehicles.sweetsand said:When I was younger I could not careless what was thrown away/scrapped and what was recycled.
Now older and wiswer and we all have a lot more info, it is good to see that some marques are leading the recyling battle. We have also considered an eltric car but not been out to see one but do read up and hoping with bettery batteries and more choices, we too will within 2/3 years proud owners of a very green car.

Morning.
Thing have for sure always been recycled in the times we are referring to but in some of the cars now days they percentage is well over 90 for some marques. I recall seeing a tv prog and not 100% but only 10 yrs ago less than 50% of a car was recycled.
