The 25k is not across all banks. You could:
day 1: send 11k to Halifax
day 2: send 25k from Lloyds to seller, send 11k from Halifax to seller.
You have no protection if things go wrong other than the courts / bailiffs etc2 -

I needed to do a larger payment a month ago. Sorted it through the app webchat. it was Starling though0 -
I have done larger payments. I just phoned the bank went through security and some questions trying to confirm that I was not partaking in a scam or being coerced and then they authorised it. Went through fineI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
