Where to buy second hand/refurbished laptop?

I am looking to buy a cheap laptop as a backup. I am looking at spending around £250-320. Which is the best (for customer service)website to order from?

With a budget of up to £320 why not buy new?

Check out www.dmxdimension.com. Brand new Dell 6400 laptop from £329, brand new Dell Vostro 1000 from £293 (upgrade the processor for £30)
  • I picked up a new "shop soiled" one from PC world after a bit of bartering for £280 a few months ago with warranty reduced from £500 may be worth having a look there

I don't like PC world, my local shop anyway, the staff are totally unhelpful.
The two first suggestion were fine but they don't offer any saturday delivery, nor a morning/afternoon delivery for weekdays (I don't think you could even chose your delivery day). Shame, one of the dell was tempting me.
I cannot take any more days off work, I 've gone off sick last week.

My son and daughter have both been pleased with this company, bought for VI Form studies and then taken to uni. When the hard drive failed on my daughters they sent a new one by return post.

Order a dell machine off ebay then. a lot of resellers on there offer special delivery. if you;re not at home you just have to nip over to your nearest postal depot.
