Does anyone have any tips for completion of this and success with this? My mum has recently been widowed and suffers from anxiety/ Insomnia due to restless leg and restless 'head' / osteoporosis in her ankle and arthritis in her hand/fingers. She is on strong medication for Rlegs syndrome and sleeping pills for the insomnia caused. Please offer any tips on successful claims .

There is advice here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/attendance-allowance/claiming-attendance-allowance/help-with-attendance-allowance-form/Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

You (she) must stress that she needs 'supervision' rather than 'help' and detail if you are up in the night attending to incontinence issues etc. if that is the case. There are two rates of AA and for the higher rate she needs to be pretty dependant on your 'supervision'.0

The OP would be advised to look at the Citizens Advice information posted by calcotti to get a true picture of the criteria for the award.

Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.2 -

I'd advise sending plenty of medical evidence - hospital letters, prescription list etc with the form. In my experience they rarely do a face to face assessment .0
