An ethical or green credit card?

There is an MSE article on ethical banking, last updated in March this year, so should be reasonably up to date. As with anything, you need to do your own research, don't take what's in that articles gospel.

I may be wrong - but I think the Co-op Bank has an ethical operational reputation - so perhaps their credit card would be appropriate ?Not sure if you need a current account or not before applying.0

This is useful - https://good-with-money.com/2024/01/31/top-4-ethical-credit-cards/
However, like others have said, I tend not to think about ethics as much with credit cards as I pay off in full every month so am not 'depositing' any money with banks.0 -
It's a bit of a nonsense, IMHO.
I get it for savings and investments, because you might feel as though your money is being used for stuff you find immoral; but if you're borrowing from the bank, you're the beneficiary... banks don't make much/any money on credit cards used in the UK and paid off in full each month, so just work out what gets you personally the most benefit.0
