Self Assessment registration (SA1) - No email acknowledgement after submitting the form

I submitted the registration Self Assessment registration form yesterday (SA1 for non self employed) but I didn't receive any email acknowledgement that the form has been submitted. Should I contact HMRC to check if the form has been successfully submitted or re-submit another form? As the 5 Oct deadline is approaching and this is my first time submitting a self-assessment, I'd prefer not to miss the deadline. I would appreciate some advice.

I would wait a few days - the last thing you want is to have UTRs and spend time and effort getting one deleted.1

As an update - I called HMRC General Enquiries (0300 200 3310) and they said that the form if submitted successfully will only be visible to them after 72 hours and have asked me to contact HMRC Online Services (0300 200 3600) to see if they can see the submitted form. HMRC Online Services is not able to check and have advised to wait 72 hours. I'll call them back on Thursday to check.0
