Using this stuff at night now guys, seems to be doing the business

Well, I've had no more bites since using it... probably jinxed it now!1 -
Doozygirl, you could try it.You could cultivate spiders and webs in the house thereby having an ecologically sound soloution.Though I tried that and this year I'm still being chewed.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Yup, that'll work too, but consider that you're putting a lot of DEET onto your skin, so how long do you want to continue using it? You can buy anti-mossie plug-ins all over the place. Just use one where you have a liquid or a mat-type of thing that slots into the plug-in. They're all much of a muchness.slipd said:Using this stuff at night now guys, seems to be doing the business

Just a thought but do you have plants in the house? I read an interesting blog the other day about plants and bugs.
Ive started getting what I think are plant grubs that hatch into a gnat type fly thing. I dont know if they bite to be honest. Ive never even heard of them before but have noticed a few in the house recently.
Might be worth looking if you do have indoor plants.

I'd be wary of believing everything you read in blogs!p00 said:Just a thought but do you have plants in the house? I read an interesting blog the other day about plants and bugs.

While it is not uncommon to have insects breeding quite happily on indoor plants or in the damp soil that they are growing in, it is vanishingly unlikely that you will be bitten by anything living on indoor plants in the UK.0 -
No-one's mentioned the most common cause - the guttering......
Whenever mine needs clearing out i can guarantee the mozzies will be about.
I've been getting quotes for gutter cleaning out and oh my god ..... crazy prices being quoted
Definitely the right business to be in !
