Before I commit, is there a better rate available than 1.26% for a one year fixed savings account?

No they aren't - this is a scam.

Where are you seeing this offer? Their website shows that they are closed to to new applications for all fixed term/rate savings accounts

Thanks for the heads up, sounded too good to be true anyway
I remember a few weeks ago I searched for the best interest fixed saver account and I must've come across a scam site that asked for my phone number for a broker to call me back which they did this morning and stated this 1.8%
 I asked them to email me confirmation of the details, and I got this email:
