My car insurance has been with Aviva for several years now. Every year, they write to me to advise the renewal amount. If I don’t actively renew it by making another payment, my insurance cover ends. I have been paying by credit card, though, not debit card (no surcharge). Not sure why that would make a difference.

If you go for Aviva Plus that is on a CPA. Just had notification of that.

But all their other policies are not on CPA'S

What type of card you use should make no difference as they are all governed by the same regulations.
