Im after a new battery for my Audi, 2003 3.0 petrol. Looked on the usual ECP website and they're all £160 upwards!! Wasnt expecting that - Wheres a cheaper place to get a new battery from please? Even Halfords are £115 upwards, or is that the price these days???

The important information you need is the size code from your existing battery. A quick google suggests you need an 019 - but confirm that...
EDIT: I mis-read your post as saying it was an A4. You don't mention what model of Audi it is, just the engine size.
A quick look finds off-brand rubbish for £55-60 or so, decent stuff starting around £80-90.
https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/bosch/s4013/ - Bosch, 4yr guarantee, just over £90 delivered.

I've used these in the past - https://www.batterymegastore.co.uk/
Also check with local motor factors as they can also be quite competitive.
As mentioned get your battery code as it will make it much easier to search with.0 -

Thanks all, its got as Bosch S4 010 on at present. (its an Audi A4 2003, 3.0 v6 petrol Sport). Strange as Amazon say its not the right battery, and recommend the Bosch 019 as AdrianC mentioned earlier.
Found an S4 010 delivered for £82, and the S4 019 for £92 delivered0 -
010 is a bit smaller than 019.
It's entirely possibly somebody fitted a cheaper, wrong-size battery at some point in the past.
Nominal dimensions are (010) 315 L x 175 W x 175 H, 85Ah, 800CCA vs (019) 350 x 175 x 190, 95Ah, 850CCA.
Is the old one a snug fit in the tray, or is it a bit short?0 -
If you know anyone with a Halfords trade card, the discounts on their batteries are pretty good. Last time I needed one, Euro Car Parts were in their "between discount codes" period, and theirs were all quite expensive - Halfords before discount were cheaper, and the card knocked another 30-odd percent off.0

I've used alpha-batteries.co.uk a few months ago. They were competitive on price, and if you've got any queries you can ring them up - the lady I spoke to was really helpful and went out of her way to make sure she ordered the right battery for me (there were 2 that were listed as being suitable for my car).

Daughters car uses an EFB battery and GSF was the cheapest for that. (Bosch). Euro is usually cheaper then GSF and
parts4less cheaper still with online prices coming in a bit less depending in discounts that week.
