Opening a joint account

I am looking to open a joint bank account with my partner for our house bills. Please can someone advise the best account at the moment and if there are any that give you a reward for opening a new account (not switching) thankyou

There is no reward for simply opening an account.
Which one is 'best' comes down to personal preference - all current accounts provide the same basic functionality. Some can only be opened in person in a Branch (e.g. Lloyds, who are not taking appointments atm for it), others can be opened online (e.g. Starling Bank). 

More important than what's the 'best' account is to fully understand the commitments you make when applying for a joint account, and to understand the T&Cs which vary from account to account (e.g. closing the account, removing an account holder, handling of disputes)

If its purely for household bills only & depending on how much they are, then Santanders 123 lite account could be an option as you'd get a few quid cashback

The problem you may find is getting an appointment to open a joint account.
You can open a sole account online but most banks require both of you to attend together to open or make an account joint.
With Covid, appointments are very scarce.
