Sky!

Ok....I have finally snapped. I try to rise above things, I try to be the voice of reason, I try to understand that nothing is perfect......but I have had enough.......I'm going to SUE!

Well ok, no I'm not, but I am going to complain. I don't want to go into all the details but I am fed up being given conflicting advice by Sky advisors. They should all sing from the same song sheet but they give such widely different advice, I don't think they even have a song sheet.

Their advice to me this time ( from that you will get the hint that it has happened before) was so far off the mark it could have cost me a fair amount had I gone along with it. As it happened,I got cut off mid call and had to phone back, this time getting someone else who tells me that first phone call was total rubbish.

Phone calls were over an hour long (0870 number) so cost me money to listen to them spout rubbish.

Sufficiently angry that I want to complain to someone but not sure who to complain to. Letter already written, but don't want to send it to just customer services. (CS is the only contact listed on the website.) Suggestions please?I thought there was a Sky contact listed here but a search is throwing up nothing. Anyone remember anything?

THE ONLY way you WILL get a result is to write to the man at the TOP !!!!

    james.murdoch@bskyb.com

This will get a result if you state the facts and only the facts and a time or date of your conversations etc as they are on record.
    Onwards and Upwards ;)

i worked for them and its true they are rubbish not the operators fault as such just that its such a harsh working environment that they have about 50% staff leaving after a month so are continually recruiting new staff and theres that much to know that u have to working there a while to know all the ins and outs of how things work if you have any questions relating to anything from them just ask and i will be happy to answer
  • i would disagree dsk. i worked for sky a few years ago and the training programme we went through was superb. i was actually employed by an outsourcing company who did a contract for sky so that might be the fdifference i suppose.

in every callcentre environment there is pressure and some people just spout nonsense. there is a lot of product knowledge involved in working for sky but "wrong info" is no more prevalent there than in other callcentres ive worked in.

i suppose though, different offices, different experiences.
