APCOA railway station charge

I have been issued a parking charge notice for one of the railway station car parks covered by this group (APCOA) parking.  I only parked the car to look at the new station that had been built.  It was also late at night and I would not have been catching a train.  I even asked the station master if it would be ok and he said that it was not a problem.

Are you asking for advice, or just telling us about your visit?

Perhaps it best you do a forum search on keywords 'APCOA station' and read how dozens of others have successfully fought off APCOA.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It was not a problem for him , it was a problem for the parking contractor employed by his TOC , their anpr captured the vehicle and he has no say in that contract

Luckily for you , Apcoa do not comply with POFA and POFA does not apply on railway station land anyway

So do as hundreds of others have done , read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum and appeal as keeper using the blue text template , no blabbing about who was driving, to anyone

Then appeal to Popla using any recent APCOA Popla appeal by other members , adapting it as required , to win at Popla , as a keeper

The circumstances are irrelevant , it's a TKO on legal grounds

The sticky thread for NEWBIES that asks posters to read it before posting tells you exactly how to deal with CRAPCOA.
You should take pics of the site and signage in the same light conditions, and determine if the car park is a railway asset and therefore covered by byelaws.

This is soooo simple to win on appeal just by following the advice in the NEWBIES thread.  Not sure what else you need to know.
