General Form of Judgment or Order

Hi,

I have been reading some of the existing items in the forum but couldnt find any advice which i believe would help me.

I have received a General Form of Judgment or Order today - It states:

' It is ordered that'
    'By 4:00PM on 9th October 2020, the claimant shall file and serve a reply to the defense'

Just a little background on this;

I received a parking ticket from Bank Park Management, my vehicle had broken down and i used the car park to take my car off the road
I originally spoke to Bank Park Management they advised they would cancel it.. turns out they didnt.
It then went to a few debt collectors and finally now through DCBL it went via a court claim.
I originally went through with the mediation and tried to come to an agreement but nothing and now I have received this in the post today.
After the mediation I tried to request some information from Bank Park / DCBL but havent received nothing either.
Please can i get some assistance in what are the next steps and what I could do?

There is nothing that you need do as a result of receiving that Order.
It is the Claimant that must do as instructed.
You are the Defendant, not the Claimant.

Did the court really spell Defense like that?
There is no letter 's' in Defence.

If you haven't done so already, you might want to read the second post in the NEWBIES thread where you will find all the steps through the court process explained. Although it has to be said, there is nothing in there about the Claimant having to respond to a Defence as that is quite unusual.

You'll need to be more on the case when it comes to submitting any further papers to the court. 

Yeah It's just when it comes to typing things on here I am lazy, everything else has been double checked and I have my evidence collected

You need to show us the defence you entered , to see what we have to work with. Also, do you have evidence they would cancel it ?

Also can you tell us if you have a court date yet?  As well as showing us your defence.

You MUST read the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread as you shouldn't have tried Mediation (waste of time) and we don't want you agreeing to a hearing on the papers or making other mistakes.  The 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread tells you under the red heading what to do when, and also shows you an example Witness Statement and evidence which will be your next task soon.
