Breakdown with 'National Recovery' that allows 'me' to decide if I want my car transported from A-B

I'm looking for 'National Recovery' within my breakdown cover that
allows 'me' to decide if I want my car transported from say Dorset to
Northumberland in the event it cannot be repaired at the roadside. Asda,
Start, Gem and Emergency Assist have conditions in their policy for
such a recovery, whereas the AA, RAC & Greenflag leave that up to
the member. Anyone know of other "breakdown agencies" outside those mentioned ?

"The cost of recovering the vehicle and its passengers if the vehicle can be repaired within a reasonable period of time at or near the place where it has broken-down".
The AA, RAC and Greenflag make it clear the choice is up to the member, no ifs, no buts, no 'near the place'.
Its not a common question, granted. But for those who've been caught out (some members of autoaid have), its a situation you don't want repeated !
For now, I'll stick with one of the top three to be sure.

I think any of the national recovery services will only recover you if the vehicle cannot be repaired "at the roadside", which could be interpreted as outside "a reasonable period of time at or near the place where it has broken-down".
If you get a tyre blow out or a flat battery, any recovery insurance policy is going to get you a new tyre or battery and not national recovery.2 -

There's a complicated backstory to it. Regardless, I have the info I need now.0
