I love miniature daffodils, such as Tète-à-Tète, which is quite commonly available. And you have nice summer-flowering bulbs with your alliums. But don't forget autumn-flowering ones too, such as Nerines. Later this month you could plant the saffron crocus — and use its stamens as a very expensive cooking spice! Look for “crocus sativus” online or in shops.
