Tandem Bank - Santander Cannot Verify The Bank Transfer

Thanks for the advice and comments.

I initially phoned Tandem and then received a letter with the account details which gave me confidence to make the transfer.  I just hope there are no dramas with Tandem in the future - there are mixed opinions about them which were referred to in posts above.

Hi. I am in a similar dilemma. Not sure about whether to go ahead as they hv very mixed reviews. What was yr experience with them now that you hv opened the account? I am unsure whether to proceed. I am tempted by the high rate of interest they hv offered me.....3%. Very tempting!

We’ve just literally setup up our 1 year 3% account with them. The app which initially was a pain installing now seems fine. We now have 14 days to fund the account. We rang Tandem twice and both times they were quick to answer, knowledgable and keen to help. Bottom line is that you are protected by the FSCS UP TO 85K anyway so we’re giving them a go. 

A lot of the “smaller lesser known” company’s offering slightly better Interest deals get iffy reviews inc Tandem but so far so good and you won’t get anywhere near 3% with anyone else. Good luck
