Hello.

I am on Ebico Zero Fixed v3 til this November. Gas and Leccy.Pay by quarterly  bill.
Got a letter from BG .'.our promise to Robin Hood customers,we'll beat your existing RH tariff.
Switch by txt , coupon or phone,no exit fees.If you don't want to move to BG choose a new supplier within 30 days of this lettter (18 Sep) or RH will move you automatically.'
Over the page it details the same tariff as Ebico Zero fixed v3. >>>No standing charge.
However on the coupon to sign and post page it states:
Zero fixed til Aug 21. >>>You'll pay a daily standing charge and unit rate for each fuel on this tariff. We'll also add VAT.
Confused. Anyone else had this letter and know wether they will stand by their promise or what?

I won't be sending the coupon in or phoning the 03 number given so I might wait til they change me over automatically  and see what happens.
I haven't got an email from BG yet.
  • I'm on Zero Fixed v3 until November for Gas and the BG email said they will honour the no standing charge until next June. I assume after that they will just switch me to their standard tariff and no more zero standing charge.

Forget BG I've already started the switch away for my Gas.
  • Morning all please can one of you advise of the contact number for BG, I suspect they would have given a dedicated contact number, on the email received from BG.  I'm also on the fixed zero v3 tariff also ending in November but as not received the email. THe email has been blocked, I can only retrieve the subject line and not the content.  Ebico had a work email for me and it was work that blocked it!  Didn't have time to change details to a personal email prior to the notification.  Need to call BG to ask them to forward email again to updated new personal email address or post to home address.  .
    Any help much appreciated

    Hello.
The number on my letter from BG to switch to them from Ebico is : 0333 202 9878 press1 to join or 2 to talk to an agent. I don't think it's a free number.

The number should be included in call packages though.
