Booking.com refund

I am experiencing problems securing a refund from Booking.com. Booking.com took a deposit from my credit card. The booking was subsequently cancelled within the cancellation period. However Booking.com have yet to issue a refund. This has been going on for over 4 weeks. Every time I speak with a customer service rep they tell me the same thing - the refund is in the hands of their Finance Team.

Probably got too many to get to? Perhaps a little patience? If you are still unhappy maybe threatening them with a cashback application might spur them on, but honestly don't think your bank would look at it having only waited 4 weeks and the promise of a refund.0
