If I get a 0% credit card would it allow me to transfer my daughter's debt from another card onto it? She has been made redundant and her virgin card finishes 0% in october. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has she tried an eligibility checker to get another card?
Or use her savings or redundancy money to clear the debt?0 -
Yes it can be done, not all lenders allow it though so you'll need to check.denise40 said:If I get a 0% credit card would it allow me to transfer my daughter's debt from another card onto it? If you do then the debt is legally your debt and not your daughters.2 -
Barclaycard is one lender who will allow a BT from someone else's card.1

If I get..........lets not put the horse in front of the cart in this day and age.
To be absolutely safe - I would get a money transfer card - transfer the money to your bank account then you pay off the daughter's card.0
