La Roche Posay mineral powder foundation - only online/EU chemists but offers buildable coverage, lasts well and doesn't give me spots!
Have used there  LRP moisturizers for several years - great for sensitive skin....now owned by L'Oreal.
Foundation wise I use Double Wear Estee Lauder and have for over 20 years used others and always return....do like the Double Wear light too.   But am not wasting money on foundation when out shopping....just slap on moisturizers and the new girls best friend - the face mask :)
P.S  Boots have 20% of Estee foundation today.....hope am allow to say!!!

In general, here I came to the conclusion that many people like Double Wear Estee Lauder - it means that you should try it yourself, because until you try it yourself, you won't form an opinion. to each his own.
    Thank you all!

I personally find EL double wear very mask like, which is great if you're after that type of thing...

mask effects i definitely don't want i want something smooth, but that looks more or less natural. can use it in the same way mixed with a regular cream?
can you advise something about it?

You could try that - I've not done it myself as the sample I tried was just too heavy for my taste, and I also prefer powder to liquid formulations.

You could try Double Wear light, which is supposed to have a medium coverage level.

  • Chanel foundation is great, especially for a combination skin but they test on animals.

I have loads of foundations but never found one that was anything special until recently.

i have mature dry skin but it is in excellent condition and doesn’t need a lot of coverage.  One of my main problems is high colouring.  I saw L’Oréal C’est Magique CC cream advertised for skin like mine and bought some.  It is green but soon blends in and hides the redness.  It suits me better than some of the expensive brands I have.
