Lovelies, What kind of foundation do you use?

Lovelies, share your findings. What kind of foundation do you use? It doesn't matter the mass market or something special. :)

    I use a liquid foundation.
You ask what kind of foundation?   Not the brand.   That question would be what brand of foundation do you use?   I use a number of brands depending on my mood.

I use a No7 lightweight one for everyday, and MAC Studio Fix liquid for evening & occasions.

  • Liquid, I like YSL touche èclat,
I used to use Estee Lauder Double wear but found by the time you get close to the bottom its application became very poor.
I don't think counters are doing colour matching at the moment but many of the counters in the department stores offer samples that last 7-10 days (in true MSE style I have be known to get these when I'm feeling less than flus and waiting for pay day)
    Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

    Make £2024 in 2024...
  • Estee Lauder double wear in various forms of watered down depending on the look I am going for, loreal magic bb cream when I don't fancy foundation, mac powder foundation as a bronzer, and mac pro coverage as a concealer, would highly recommend revlon colourstay as an eldw dupe too, others I have liked but do not use are Nars radiant, Arman silk, It cosmetics bb cream.

Is Estee Lauder too heavy for daytime makeup? I love the natural effect, no mask effect (for the day)

Not if you either mix it with another product ie, moisturiser, highlight, or primer before applying it or sheer it out by applying it on its own with a damp beauty blender or similar.
