With a 2-to-sign current account for the Charity we can't get a credit card.  How can we get a credit card from another provider?

The problem with credit cards on a '2 to sign' account is that you can't have the '2 to sign' option. Is your treasurer willing to take that risk, and the necessary mitigating steps?

Which bank are you with? May be worth you looking at this thread, where I said: 

The three places I always mention for charity banking are Unity Trust, Triodos and CAF. I'd recommend any of those in preference to a high street bank. If you need to pay in or withdraw cash you'll need to make arrangements with a high street bank or Post Office to do so. They're not perfect, they're not free, but you get there in the end ...
